Happy Thanksgiving to you each and all. As Rev. Gordon at First Church prayed so wonderfully, may your Thanksgiving be a time of closeness with God no matter the season of life you find yourself in. Whether jubilation, new beginnings, hard changes, new patterns after the loss of a loved one, or simply the mix of 'life as usual'.
As I mentioned on Sunday, we Christians know about making our Thanksgiving right on through. And that's because our loving foundation doesn't shift, even while life does. Amen.
May your turkey be moist, your cranberries tart, and that other funky dish that you aren't sure who brought...well, just as funky as it ought to be!
