Come check it out, whether you've taken part in previous sessions or not. Learn, ask questions, make contributions, build community.

Blue Jean Sunday

Blue Jean Sunday is May 21.  Following the 10:00am service, join us for spring clean up on the St. Andrew's grounds.

Family Promise Update

Thanks to many dedicated and flexible parishioners and friends our second year of Family Promise has drawn to a successful close. Yes, flexibility still guides all that we do, but it's clear that we have learned to "expect the unexpected" as we offer our guests shelter, food, companionship and lots of love!

Please join us during coffee hour after the 10:00AM service on Sunday, May 21 to honor our volunteers and celebrate a job well done.

In God's love, Pam and Pam, Family Promise Parish Coordinators

Blood Drive Update

The Red Cross goal for the number of units for our drive was 17.  The total collected was 35!

It couldn't have happened without our great group of volunteers from St. Andrew's and First Congregational Church.  To those who served at the drive, to those who prepared and donated food, and to those who donated blood.  Thank you.  Thank you.  Thank you!  So many people were helped by our efforts

Our next Red Cross blood drive will be Wednesday, November 1, 2017.   Have a great summer.  We look forward to our next successful event in November.

Spring has Sprung!

A robin's nest has popped up on the top of the back door to the parking lot.  It now has eggs so removing it is not an option.  Be aware that Mama Robin will fly away when the door opens but that they generally won't swoop.

Prayer List

Please send any prayer requests to the office.

How can I help?

Coffee Hour: Hosts are needed for coffee hour.  This need not be elaborate, but coffee, punch and some cookies are always welcome as we gather in the Great Hall after the Eucharist.  Please consider hosting any of these Sundays.  There is a sign up sheet next to the name tags.

Altar Flowers: Altar Flower donations are always welcome.  Please contact Debbie Monroe with any questions.

Food Pantry: Please remember the Food Pantry.  Bring non-perishable food and personal care items to church any Sunday and place items in the church food baskets or the food box near the side entry to the Parish House.

Offering and Samaritan Fund Requests: St. Andrew's allocates one-half of the loose plate (cash) offering on the second, third, fourth and fifth Sundays to a non-profit organization to be nominated monthly by a parishioner and approved by the Vestry. If you have a particular cause to be considered, complete an application (located in various places around the church/hall) and return it to the office, or to Vickie Haines.

Pray: Please pray for Archbishop Justin Welby, Presiding Bishop Michael Curry, Bishop Rob, and John, as well as the health of our nation, world, and parish life.

Blast Submissions

Do you have church or community news you would like announced in the blast?  Please make sure all submissions are emailed to the office no later than Friday morning at 9am.

Office Hours

The office will be open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 9:00a-1:00p.
