We, who are many, are one body because we all share one bread and one cup.
What would it be like to not be able to attend a church service or receive the Eucharist if you yearned to do so? St. Andrew’s parishioners have the answer.
On the second Sunday of each month, Eucharistic Visitors (E.V.s), also known as Lay Eucharistic Ministers visit parishioners unable to attend regular worship services due to illness, or other situations that cause them to be home bound.
Following a regular worship service, sent forth by the priest and the congregation, the Eucharistic Visitor brings Holy Communion to the faithful. Visits may be made to nursing homes, hospitals, and private residences.
