Between the Times:
All-ages Christian Formation Hour
9:00am - 9:45am
Catechesis of the Good shepherd: pre-k 6th grade
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a Montessori-style Christian formation program for children in Pre K to 6th grade. CGS takes place in The Atrium which is an inviting space with many different interactive materials. The children use these materials as they learn about church life and grow in their relationship with God. Children who arrive at 9am for the Atrium will stay through the beginning of the service and return at the Peace. Of course, any children who arrive at 10am are welcome to join then as well. Anne McCausland and Marti Hunt are trained catechists and are excited for St. Andrew’s fourth year of offering CGS.
DONUTS AND DISCIPLESHIP: 7TH – 12TH GRADE
Donuts and Discipleship is a chance for youth in 7th to 12th grade to hang out together and talk about faith, life, and anything else. We’ll have donut holes and OJ in the Youth Room and see where the Spirit leads our conversation. We’ll end at 9:45am so acolytes can vest and we can all join the service. Drew Courtright will be there to chat with and listen to the youth. Look out for other, non-Sunday morning offerings for youth throughout the year as well!
COFFEE AND CONVERSION: ADULTS
Coffee and Conversion is a chance for adults to dive into various topics of faith, church, and life in an easy and open format held in the Great Hall. Each week will have an area of focus but those will be determined by what the group would like to discuss. No prep required but get excited to sink your teeth into the wealth of treasure that life in the Episcopal Church has to offer. The Rev John McCausland will facilitate the discussions.
Choir Rehearsal also begins at 9:00am in the church and is open to adults and youth 9th grade and up. Choir rehearses after the service as well. Please contact Janet for more information.
